Microsoft Surface Site

Hybrid Flash/HTML site for Microsoft’s Surface product. This was a refresh of an existing site which was originally one large SWF. The site was split out into seperate html pages with each section having it’s own page containing a full-browser SWF. The different sections were moved under class control. Internal sections which did not change were left intact.

My Role: Split out all the sections into seperate independent SWFs. Reorganized structure of site. Made the meet the team section under the “about” section from scratch. Meet the team consists of a scatter engine which takes an xml list of employees, sorts them into alphabetical groups and generates random locations for each. Implemented a SWF embed resizer utilizing JavaScript.
